Do you accept new patients?
Yes, new patients of all ages are always welcome at Commerce Drive Dental! We invite you to call us at 507-345-7786 to schedule an initial appointment consultation. During your first visit, we will compile your medical and dental history, examine your teeth and gums, perform an oral cancer screening, and take x-rays as needed. We will then review your diagnosis and discuss treatment plan and fee payment options, address your concerns, and answer any questions you may have. If necessary, we will also refer you to a specialist such as an oral surgeon or orthodontist. Our goal is to help you determine the best possible plan to meet your dental needs!

What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most types of dental insurance, and our office is happy to process your claim with all insurance plans; however, we may be out-of-network providers so we recommend that you ask your insurance representative for more information. We belong to the Delta Dental network.

Are payment plans available for my dental treatment?
Yes. We offer 0% financing through CareCredit Finance, and we of course accept most major credit cards. Refer to our Financial Information page for specific information regarding payment plan options.

What is your fee schedule?
Your doctor will design a treatment plan that meets your specific and individual needs, based upon a thorough dental exam and your medical and dental history. Costs will vary due to treatment options and choices, and we will be happy to help you determine the best and most affordable course of action for your dental needs, working with you and your insurance plan to accomplish your goals.

Could I request a particular dentist or hygienist?
We will do our best to accommodate your request for a specific doctor or hygienist; please let us know your preference when you schedule your appointment.

How long is a typical check-up appointment and what does it involve?
A “typical” recare (check-up) appointment is approximately 50 minutes in length, but the appointment length can of course vary for individual patients. At this appointment, the doctor performs a thorough exam and oral cancer screening, and the hygienist will clean the patient’s teeth, apply fluoride, and take x-rays as necessary. We will also discuss any pain or problems you are experiencing, and answer any questions you may have about your oral health. Based on American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines, we recommend scheduling check-up appointments at regular six-month intervals in order to maintain optimum dental health.

Do you make mouthguards and if so, what kind and at what cost?
We can provide several different kinds of mouthguards starting at $25. Our mouthguards include snore guards, athletic guards, and bruxism (grinding) guards. We also offer new Under Armour athletic mouthguards and mouthpieces with exclusive ArmourBite™ technology.

Does your office offer sedation dentistry?
