This is different for every patient. We see patients every 6 months, every 4 months, every 3 months, or even once a month. It all depends on how much build-up (plaque, stain, calculus) you get, what your pocket depths are (periodontal disease), et cetera.
The hygienist and dentist together determine what’s best for each patient on an individual need. “We choose to help our patients achieve a level of optimum dental health” – that is part of our mission statement.
